Day 1:
Arrival in Kigali
Arrive at Kigali International Airport, where you will be welcomed by your tour guide. Transfer to your accommodation in Kigali to check in and freshen up. If time permits, embark on a city tour. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, providing insight into Rwanda’s history and resilience. Explore local markets, such as Kimironko Market, to experience the vibrant culture. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Kigali.
Day 2:
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Have an early breakfast at your hotel. Drive to Volcanoes National Park, located in the northwest of Rwanda. Check-in at your lodge, situated near the park, and have lunch. Day 3:
Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Early morning breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by park rangers. Receive guidelines for gorilla trekking. Day 4:
Departure
Have breakfast and check out of the lodge. Drive back to Kigali, with the option to visit the beautiful Lake Kivu on the way. Arrive in Kigali, where you can explore additional sites or do some last-minute shopping. Enjoy a farewell lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure.
