The Kenyan Coast is idyllic and apart from its lovely palm-fringed white sand beaches, warm ocean waters, colorful underwater worlds and luxury resorts, it is an interesting region historically. Once you have had your fill of the sun and sea, you can set out to explore ancient Arab and Portuguese forts including the famous Fort Jesus and old Swahili outposts.
